With the first day of spring and March Break coming up, we have a lot to look forward to this month. That being said, there are some awesome family-friendly events coming up this month!
Ace Academy Flight Experience
Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
Ends April 22
This winter the museum will be hosting Ace Academy Flight Experience - an exciting interactive exhibit from the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. Visitors will have the chance to pilot a First World War biplane using motion sensing technology. Players enter an immersive environment, facing a screen and standing on a roundel to activate the experience. Authentic aircraft imagery takes centre stage as players fly a realistic rendering of the Sopwith Camel biplane.
Sugar Bush Tours
Richardson's Farm & Market
March 9
Head to Richardson’s Farm and Market to watch the sap be boiled and enjoy some piping hot pancakes, sausage and pure maple syrup. Take a wagon ride to the sugar bush for a guided tour of how sap is collected, using both buckets and modern pipeline. Be sure to browse around the market!
Caledonia Library
March 11-15
Haldimand libraries are planning to host a variety of fun programs during March Break. The Caledonia Library is hosting day-long children's programs over the March Break including LEGO Club, and Woven Turtles & Butterflies. The Dunnville and Selkirk branches also have an assortment of exciting programs planned – visit www.haldimandcounty.on.ca for more information on upcoming events. Registration is required.
