Westfield Maple Syrup Festival

Location: Westfield Heritage Village

Date: March 1,8, 15, 18, 19, 22, 29 2020

Time: 10 a.m.

 

Discover one of Canada’s most time-honoured traditions as you learn both modern and historical methods of making maple syrup. From tree to table, bring your friends and family together to experience the magic of maple syrup. Attendees can also purchase and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast at the festival. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors age 65+ and $6.50 for youths between 6-17. Children 5 and under are free. Family rate for the day is $35 for two adults and two youth. HCA members receive free entry.

RBG After Dark: Wine and Wildlife

Location: Royal Botanical Gardens

Date: March 5, 2020

Time: 7:00 p.m.

 

Come out to the RBG for a night of drinks, music and wildlife as you experience a night out like no other. Guests will get to sample chocolate and other Rainforest Alliance Certified products, play a few rounds of pub trivia and enjoy a meet-and-greet with animals as part of the night’s interactive exhibit. This event is 19+. Tickets are $18 for regular admission and $15 for students with a valid student ID.

March Break Madness: The Magical World of Wizarding

Location: Hamilton Children’s Museum

Date: March 14-22, 2020

Time: 9:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.

 

Harry Potter fans unite! Get your wands ready as you partake in the magical school of wizardry at the Hamilton Children’s Museum. Visitors will learn about charms, potions, divination and how to take care of magical creatures. All guests are encouraged to dress up as their favourite witch or wizard for this magical event. Admission is $3.00 for adults, seniors and youth and $4.50 for children between 1-12.

Beer Tasting in the Dark

Location: Collective Arts Brewery

Date: March 19, 2020

Time: 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.

 

Join the CNIB Foundation for a unique brewery experience as you enjoy beer tasting in the dark. The evening is British Pub-inspired and will feature a silent auction with fantastic prizes and live entertainment. All proceeds from the event will go towards CNIB Foundation to support innovative programs and advocacy for Canadians impacted by blindness. Tickets are $65 per person.
